At around 10:00 am Saturday morning, July 28, 2018, Bossier City Police dispatchers received multiple calls that gun shots were fired in the Pepper Point Mobile Park located in the 6200 block of East Texas Street. Investigators say the shooting was related to a domestic dispute. Responding officers found that the suspect, 35-year-old Antonio Dawayne Hill of Shreveport, fired several rounds from a handgun at a male victim. The victim then got into his vehicle and struck the car Hill was driving multiple times. Hill then got out of the car and fled on foot. There were no injuries in the shooting. The rounds from the weapon caused damage to a nearby home and vehicles.
Detectives obtained a warrant for Hill’s arrest for aggravated assault with a firearm, illegal use of a weapon, and 3 counts of aggravated criminal damage to property. Hill was located on the warrant in Shreveport by the US Marshals Service and Shreveport Police Department. He was booked on the warrant at the Bossier City Police Department jail Wednesday before being transported to the Bossier Parish facility. Bond on the charges is set at $400,000.
The investigation is ongoing.
