The City of Bossier City, Parish of Bossier, Bossier Sheriff's Office, and Keep Bossier Beautiful are sounding the call for volunteers for this year's Operation Clean Sweep event.
The annual parish-wide clean up has been set for Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
Volunteers are asked to pick a location within the City of Bossier or outside the city limits in Bossier Parish to remove trash, litter and debris, and bring their bags of trash to the Bossier Sheriff Substation on Viking Drive.
To cap off the event, crawfish will be served at the substation at approximately noon that day.
The 2022 event garnered more than 700 volunteers who call came together with a common goal of cleaning up their communities and ensuring Bossier City and Parish continues to be a beautiful place to live, work and play.
