Bossier City Arctic Blast Update #2

The Bossier City Public Utilities department and other city employees have been busy today responding to both residential and commercial water leaks. The calls have been steady but manageable with the planning and resources previously deployed. All the preparation for this extreme cold weather combined with recent water infrastructure improvements are paying big dividends.
All
of the Bossier City water tanks remain filled well above targeted levels. The water plant is producing water at a steady rate and we are maintaining good water flow and water pressure to all Bossier City water customers.
Please continue to drip a faucet to help prevent broken water pipes and report any water leaks or low/no water pressure to the 24 hour switchboard at (318) 741-8466. Bring in your pets and check on your neighbors and stay safe and warm!
