The Records Division is the official repository for all police and traffic crash reports including all traffic citations filed by the Bossier City Police Department. The division completes data entry into the department's records management system and handles both officer requests for information and public requests.
How to Get a Police Report
Traffic accident reports and police offense reports may be obtained in person at the Records Division of Bossier City Police Department, 620 Benton Road, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Reports are $5 for Incident Reports and $20 for Accident reports. All reports are payable with credit or debit (Visa/Mastercard), money order and business checks. Personal checks are not accepted.

Mailed requests must include:
Address, Fax Number or Email address of where the report is to be sent
Date of the accident or offense
Name(s) of complainant and/or victim
Location of accident or offense
Address where report is to be sent
Money order in the amount of $5 for Incident reports or $20 for Accident reports, made payable to the Bossier City Police Department. Checks are not accepted with mailed requests.
Fee
Members of the public may also obtain a summary of their own criminal records involving the Bossier City Police Department. Requests must be made in person by the individual who is the subject of the inquiry. A valid I.D. must be presented along with payment of $20.
