Bossier City police have arrested five teenage boys for burglarizing and vandalizing an elementary school over the Christmas break.
Detectives with the BCPD Property Crimes Unit arrested the boys, four 15-year olds and one 14-year old, on charges of simple burglary for breaking into Stockwell Elementary School multiple times while classes were out for the holidays. Three of the boys are from Bossier City. The other two are from Shreveport and Blanchard.
The boys are accused of breaking into the school and causing property damage by breaking shelves, knocking holes in walls, spraying shaving cream onto floors and damaging a computer. The boys also took candy and some keys.
After their arrest, the boys were released into the custody of their parents. Louisiana law prohibits the release of the suspects' names since they are juveniles.
