UPDATE: Ciera Sparks was located unharmed in Shreveport this morning by Shreveport Police.

The Bossier City Police Department is continuing its search for a runaway teenager. 14-year old Ciera (pronounced "Sierra") Sparks was last seen on September 8, 2011 when she ran away from the Johnny Gray Jones Youth Shelter in Bossier City. Ciera is a black female, 5'7" tall and weighs about 175 pounds.

Detectives with the Juvenile Unit do not suspect foul play however they are concerned about Ciera's welfare. Cierra was the subject of a BCPD news release issued September 16, 2011 in which police initially asked the public for assistance in locating her.

Anyone who has any information regarding Ciera's whereabouts is urged to call the Bossier City Police Department's Juvenile Unit at (318) 741-8663.
