Bossier City Police Narcotics Agents arrested a Shreveport man over the weekend and seized more than four pounds of marijuana as the result of an undercover investigation.
Agents arrested 39-year-old Rudell Robinson on Saturday after arranging an undercover drug buy with him. Agents and officers with the BCPD Street Crimes Interdiction Unit intercepted Robinson in his vehicle at the intersection of Airline Drive and I-20 as he drove from Shreveport to make the deal. Robinson was taken into custody after officers pulled him over a block away at the intersection of Airline Drive and East Texas Street.
Police seized approximately four and a half pounds of marijuana from inside Robinson's vehicle along with $834 in cash, a scale and an opened bottle of vodka.
Robinson was booked into the BCPD Jail for possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, open container and no driver's license. Robinson also had a warrant out of Smith County, Texas for a parole violation.
He was later transferred to the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility. His total bond is set at $35,800.
