The Bossier City Fire Department responded to a fire this morning, December 24, 2011in the 1200 block of Norris Drive that heavily damaged a house. The call came in at approximately 10:50 am.

The first engine company arrived on scene and found flames coming out of the structure's front windows. The man who lives in the home escaped without injury.

The fire appears to have started in the home's living room and spread to the attic resulting in heavy damage to much of the house. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
