Bossier City Mayor Lorenz "Lo" Walker along with City Council members Don "Bubba" Williams, Jeffrey D. Darby, David Jones, Scott Irwin, Timothy A. Larkin, David Montgomery, Jr. and City Council member-elect James "Chubby" Knight will be sworn into office Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 2 p.m. during a ceremony at the Bossier Civic Center, 620 Benton Road. The mayor and city council are being sworn in for a 4 year term which officially begins July 1.

Mayor Walker will deliver his inaugural address after the oaths of office are administered. A reception will follow. The public is invited to attend.
