The Bossier City Fire Department responded to a fire this morning in the 100 block of Colquitt Steet that destroyed a vacant house.

Fire crews were called to the scene just after 12 a.m. and found the house fully involved with flames and heavy smoke coming from the structure upon their arrival. It took firefighters about 30 minutes to bring the fire under control. There were no reported injuries.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
