City of Bossier City administrative offices, including offices for City Council, will be closed on Monday, July 4, 2011 in observance of Independence Day.
Residential trash collection in Bossier City will also be suspended that day. The schedule for trash pickup for that week will be altered as follows:

• Monday trash collection routes will run on Tuesday, July 5.
• Tuesday trash collection routes will run on Wednesday, July 6.
• Trash collection routes on Thursday and Friday, July 7 and July 8 will not be affected and will run as scheduled.
