City of Bossier City administrative offices will be closed Monday, January 16, 2012 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Residential trash collection in Bossier City will also be suspended on that date. The schedule for trash pickup during that week will be altered as follows:

• Trash routes that normally run on Monday will run on Tuesday.
• Trash routes that normally run on Tuesday will run on Wednesday.
  
• Thursday and Friday trash routes will not be affected and will run as scheduled.
