Bossier City Animal Control will not be accepting animal drop offs or offer adoption services on Thursday, August 4 and Friday, August 5 so that several staff members may undergo continuing education in Baton Rouge as part of their certification requirement. The weekly Adoption Program at the Bossier City Pet Smart store will also be suspended this Saturday, August 6.

A limited number of employees will still be at the Bossier City Animal Shelter on Thursday and Friday to care for the animals there and to respond to emergency call outs regarding animal complaints.
