The City of Bossier City has received word that the boil advisory issued earlier this week due to the water main break at the intersection of Swan Lake and Shed Roads HAS BEEN LIFTED. Residents in the area are no longer advised to boil their water as a precaution before consuming it.

Tests conducted by the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals/Office of Public Health show the water is safe. This action was a boil advisory, not a boil order.
