Sandra Faye Johnson

Almost any book a patron sees in the Bossier Parish libraries was selected by Ms. Johnson, librarian. Since October 1974 she has been responsible for purchasing and cataloging books are cataloged. In addition, she has been active in Quota International, which aids people who have speech and hearing handicaps. She’s worked on a deaf awareness campaign to educate the public and worked with deaf youth at camp. She was Deaf Woman of the Year for Quota’s region of Louisiana, Texas & Mississippi in the late 1970’s.
