Pearl Taylor Waller

Ms. Waller moved to Bossier City with her husband in 1918 where they soon purchased a large section of land. After her husband’s death, she sold parts of this land to become Waller Subdivision and Coleman Park. Not accepting the payments offered, she donated other parts of this land for Waller Baptist Church, Barksdale Methodist Church, Waller Elementary, Kerr Elementary and Rusheon Middle School.
