BETTYE McCAULEY
Ms. McCauley was one of the first African American teachers to integrate teaching in Bossier Parish, the first African American integrated high school principal (Parkway) in Northwest La. and one of the first black, female high school principals in the state. She is a former president of the Johnny Gray Jones Youth Shelter, one of the founding board members of Gingerbread House for sexually abused children, and has influenced the lives of countless other children.
